General Terms and Conditions of Use
General terms and conditions of use applicable to all LATIN AI Software products,
unless otherwise noted.
- Prohibition of Military Use
1.1 Prohibited Use
The use of our products for military, paramilitary, or security-related purposes
is prohibited without exception. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Development, control, or support of weapons
- Deployment in military decision-making, target acquisition, or reconnaissance systems
- Use in autonomous or semi-autonomous weapon systems
- Integration into military training or simulation environments
- Any use by armed forces, intelligence agencies, or comparable organizations
1.2 No Exceptions
No exceptions to this prohibition shall be granted. Requests for special
permissions, exceptions, or individual authorizations will not be reviewed
and will be rejected as a matter of principle.
1.3 Transfer to Third Parties
The user agrees not to transfer the product to third parties if it can be
assumed that they might use it for military or security-critical purposes.
1.4 Breach of Contract
Any violation of this provision results in the immediate and irrevocable
revocation of all usage rights. The provider further reserves the right
to take additional legal action.
- Product-Specific Overrides
Individual LATIN AI Software products may contain deviating or supplementary
provisions within their own license or terms of use. In such cases, the
product-specific provisions take precedence over these general terms of use. A product-specific override may, in particular, stipulate that certain types of use—including those prohibited under Section 1—may be permitted or authorized under clearly defined conditions. Unless such an exception is expressly stated in the applicable product terms, the prohibition set forth in Section 1 remains fully in effect. - Copyright
3.1 Proprietary Rights
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all copyrights, usage rights, and proprietary rights regarding all products, content, software components, models, documentation, and other materials remain exclusively with LATIN AI Software.
3.2 Third-Party Rights
Materials originating from third parties or based on third-party rights are subject to the respective copyright and licensing terms of the rights holders. The user is obliged to respect and comply with these rights.
3.3 No Transfer of Rights
Use of our products does not result in the transfer of any proprietary rights. The user receives only the non-exclusive and revocable usage rights granted under the applicable license.
3.4 Protection Against Unauthorized Use
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or making available to the public of our products or content beyond the scope of the granted usage rights is prohibited without the express written consent of LATIN AI Software. - Use by Sanctioned Entities
4.1 Prohibition of Use by Sanctioned Parties
Use of our products is prohibited without exception for any persons, organizations, companies, institutions, or state actors that have been expressly sanctioned or excluded by LATIN AI Software. This applies regardless of:
- Nationality
- Registered office or location
- Type of organization
- Purpose of use
4.2 No exceptions or special authorizations
No exceptions, individual clearances, or special authorizations will be granted for sanctioned entities. Requests regarding this matter will not be reviewed and will be rejected as a matter of principle.
4.3 Transfer to sanctioned third parties
The user undertakes not to transfer the product—directly or indirectly—to sanctioned persons or organizations, nor to make it accessible to them. This includes: - Resale
- Rental
- Transfer of licenses
- Technical integration into the systems of sanctioned parties
4.4 Consequences of a violation
A violation of this provision results in the immediate and irrevocable revocation of all usage rights. Furthermore, LATIN AI Software reserves the right to take further legal action.
